Neighborhood Hopes is a non-profit organization that provides a safe place for kids in the community that may not be able to monetarily afford to join any other organization. We are trying to get the Kids who ages 7-18 to attend for free. As you can imagine, this makes it very difficult to provide everything needed for the club and that is why we are asking for some donations from the community.

 

Our Mission statement as follows:

Our mission is to promote boxing, health and the wellbeing of the people living in the most deprived and disadvantaged communities within Middle Tennessee, without distinction of race, gender, political and or religious belief. Our purpose is to make a significant impact on the local communities' health and lifestyle and to provide outlets for young people to develop and participate in the local community.

​The club believes money should not be the deciding factor in its participation and its ‘activities should be accessible and affordable to all’. Our aims are to promote fitness, discipline, friendship, fair play and respect for all the community and particularly young people. To enable young people to develop and participate in the local community and to improve the self-confidence of young people and reduce fear of crime. To increase quality of life by providing a constructive alternative to anti social behaviour such as drugs and alcohol abuse and to provide positive role models and social inclusion from interaction with our coaching staff and other young people.

We are very excited about continuing to involve kids in the community. This is the time for our kids to enjoy each other while learning boxing and real life experiences. We are asking businesses in the community to donate any of the following:

 

• Monetary donations

• Bottled waters

• Gym equipment

• Jump ropes

• Boxing gloves

• Hand wraps

• Mouth guards

• Toilet paper and paper towels

• Clorox wipes

• Lysol spray

All donations are tax deductible, as we are a non-profit organization. Please retain this letter for your tax purposes. If you choose to make a monetary donation, please make checks payable to Neighborhood Hopes Boxing Club.
